Please look the this sale options. 600 watts RMS (or Average or Bird watts), 350w RMS on 6m, 2x MRF300, front gain control and automatic SSB, internal relay to turn off bias when in stand by to reduce heat. 25 watts RMS max input (default is 25 watts but I can adjust this to any requirement, example 100, 50, 10 watts, etc) RF sensing for TX or PTT input, you choose, PTT is recommended for SSB use and default on this sale.
Requires 50 volts and 20 amperes power supply and 12 volts for the bias, relays and fan. This is not a CB (11m) 12 volts amplifier. This sale is for the amplifier, amplifier with power supply or power supply only, any other items on the pictures are not included. Amplifier approximate case measurements: 12" x 7 3/4" x 5 1/4, not counting the front switches, cables or back connectors. All measurements are done using Bird watt meters, RMS readings are measured with dead key non modulated signal. We measured the harmonics using a Bird Signal Hawk spectrum analyzer. Other measurements are done with a Fluke scope meter/oscilloscope.
All wattage measurements are off the air using a CDI 50 ohms 10kw terminating load (dummy load). Good ventilation, cool room temperature, 50 volts power supply with 20 amperes, ammeter and 12 volts power supply are required to operate this amplifier. You fail to do this, the amplifier dies, you decide. MRF300 transistor is RUGGED, but that doesn't mean it will not fail, you can literally cut the antenna cable and it will not die, but you go more than 16 amperes (this amplifier with 2 MRF300), you will have shooting stars, please don't try cutting the antenna cable..... DO NOT OVERDRIVE THE AMPLIFIER.
As a reminder, please don't overdrive the amplifier. Don't forget to use a Low Pass Filter on Ham radio bands, don't forget to NOT OVERDRIVE THE AMPLIFIER and the good ventilation with cool room temperature is very important, if you left your amplifier to melt itself like a Chernobyl reactor it's your fault, you been warned. Please make sure you follow all FCC rules, this amplifier is not intended to be used on Citizen Band (CB), to be used without a low pass filter in the Ham bands(160-6 meters), to use it with more than 1500 watts in the HAM bands or to use it in digital mode. The power output of this amplifier will vary depending your radio, antenna, frequency, coax, SWR and any other circumstances. I will continue to improve the amplifier so maybe the pictures are outdated.
