High quality relay buffer to interface between Yaesu FT-736R radio and will key any VHF/UHF amplifier. The Yaesu FT-736R can only provide for a small amount of current on the external amplifier keying output. Our box will key ANY amplifier and isolate the sensitive keying circuit inside the FT-736R.

This relay interface box has the proper Yae su plug to connect into the Ext. Control jack on the back of the FT-736R for keying VHF and UHF amps. This can also be used to switch mast mounted RF preamplifiers (preamps) instead of an RF power amplifier. The RBI-736R has FOUR completely separate relay circuits to completely isolate each RF power amplifier.

When you are on 6M (50 Mhz) only the 50 MHz amplifier output jack is switched When you are on 2M (144 Mhz) only the 144 MHz amplifier output jack is switched When you are on 1.25M (222 Mhz) only the 222 MHz amplifier output jack is switched When you are on 70cm (430 Mhz) only the 430 MHz amplifier output jack is switched When you are on 23cm (1296 Mhz) only the 1296 MHz amplifier output jack is switched. (as you know, you can only have 4 bands total in your radio, so whatever you put in the optional band slot s of th e radio will correspond to our relay interface b ox). This is not one of those types that make you use a battery to power the unit! This high quality device is power by your station power supply or any filtered DC source from 9-15 VDC (only 40ma required).

When connecting your Radio and Amplifier, there may be switching voltage, polarity, and current incompatibility that can cause damage to your radio or amplifier if connected without a switching interface between them. Even if your internal radio switching looks like it might be usable, it is wise to have an extra degree of isolation between your amplifier and radio with our relay buffer interface.
